Calm Mode and accessibility are free on every plan

Calm Mode, the dyslexia-friendly font, the high-contrast theme and every other accessibility setting are part of the free tier and always will be. We never charge for them.

Prices include VAT where it applies and are shown in your own currency at checkout if you are outside the UK. Payment is handled by Stripe, which sells the plan on our behalf, so your receipt comes from Stripe. We never see your card details. Cancel a subscription any time from the billing portal on your dashboard. Children never see a price anywhere in Puzzitron.

Questions about paying

Does the free tier stop working?: No. There is no trial clock and no card to enter. A free account keeps one child, every skill area, the Daily Mission and the parent dashboard for as long as you want it. The only limit is daily: 20 questions a day, with a fresh allowance the next day.
What happens when my child reaches 20 questions?: They see a calm "back tomorrow" screen in the game. There is nothing to buy on it and no price: children never see a price in Puzzitron. You get a note on your dashboard, and if you want them to keep going that day, Plus lifts the limit.
Is Calm Mode free?: Yes, on every plan, for good. Calm Mode and all the accessibility settings are part of the free tier. We will never put them behind a payment.
How do I cancel?: From the billing portal linked on your dashboard, which Stripe runs. A monthly or yearly plan stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account goes back to Free. Nothing is deleted: your children, their history and their reports stay where they are. The pass never needs cancelling.
What is the difference between the yearly plan and the pass?: Both give you 12 months of Plus. The yearly plan is £49 and renews each year until you cancel. The pass is £59, paid once, and simply ends after 12 months, so there is no subscription to remember to cancel. It suits a family who wants Plus for one exam year.
Can I get a refund?: Yes. If you change your mind within 14 days of first paying, email hello@puzzitron.com and we will refund you in full.
What if I am a tutor and a parent?: The tutor plan sits alongside your family account rather than replacing it. Your own children stay where they are and the tutor tools appear next to them. Plus and the tutor plan are separate, so you only pay for the one you need.
