Puzzitron is operated by an individual UK-based operator trading as Puzzitron. For any question about these terms, email hello@puzzitron.com.

Puzzitron is intended for children aged 7–11, set up and supervised by a parent / legal guardian / authorised tutor or teacher. The adult creates their own account and adds the child. The child then signs in with a three-word handle and a 4-digit PIN: a child added by a parent sets their own PIN, and a tutor sets it for a pupil they add.

By creating an adult account you confirm you are 18 or older AND that you have the right to set up the child account on the child’s behalf.

Free. One child, every skill area, 20 questions a day, the Daily Mission, a mock paper and the parent dashboard. There is no time limit and no card to enter. Calm Mode and every accessibility setting are free on every plan, and always will be.

Puzzitron Plus. Unlimited daily practice, every mock paper, the full parent report, parent-set focus skills and up to 5 children. You can pay for it in three ways:

• Monthly (£6.99 a month) or yearly (£49 a year). These are subscriptions: they renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• 12-month pass (£59, paid once). It lasts 12 months from the day you buy it and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. If you buy another pass before the first one ends, the new 12 months start when the old ones run out.

Tutor plan. Your first 3 pupils are free. For more, the tutor plan is £9 a month or £80 a year. It is a subscription and renews and cancels in the same way as a Plus subscription.

Prices and tax. Current prices are on the pricing page and include VAT where it applies. If you are outside the UK, checkout may show the price in your own currency.

Who takes the payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Our Stripe account uses Stripe Managed Payments, which means Stripe sells the plan to you as the merchant of record (the reseller) for that transaction and handles the sales tax on it. Your receipt comes from Stripe, and Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card details.

Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, so you have time to cancel first. A price change never affects a pass you have already bought.

If a renewal payment fails. Stripe will try again and let you know. If the payment still cannot be taken, the subscription ends and the account goes back to Free.

When a paid plan ends. Nothing is deleted because a plan ends. Your children, their practice history and their reports stay on the account. The free daily allowance applies again and the Plus-only features switch off until you pay again.

Changes to the service. We may add, change or retire features and question types as Puzzitron develops. We will email you before any change that takes away something you have paid for, and we will not move Calm Mode or the accessibility settings out of the free tier.

If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 usually give you 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content or a digital service.

Plus and the tutor plan start as soon as you pay. By completing checkout you ask for access to begin straight away, and you acknowledge that access begins immediately.

Our own promise is simpler than the law: if you change your mind within 14 days of first paying for a plan, email hello@puzzitron.com and we will refund you in full, whether or not you have used it. The refund goes back to the card you paid with.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

By using Puzzitron, you and the child agree:

• Not to share account or invite credentials with anyone who isn’t the intended user.
• Not to use the service to harass, defame, or harm anyone.
• Not to attempt to scrape, copy, redistribute, or resell the question bank, app code, or any other content. The bank is the result of a lot of human + LLM editorial work; if you want to use it commercially, email us first.
• Not to attempt to bypass authentication, the child / adult separation, or the admin role gate.

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these rules. We’ll email you first if we possibly can.

What we collect, why, and how to delete it is covered in full in the privacy policy. Short version: minimum data, no third-party trackers, UK/EU-hosted, ask us to delete anything any time.

You can soft-delete a child (with a 30-day restore window) or hard-delete your whole adult account at any time from the dashboard.

The Puzzitron app, brand, and question bank are the property of the operator. We grant the adult account a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for the purpose of practising at home with their own children.

Trademarks belonging to third parties (CAT4, 11+ test formats, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and used here in a descriptive, non-affiliated sense only.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law: Puzzitron is provided “as is”. We make no warranties, express or implied, about its fitness for any particular purpose. Including any educational, assessment, or admissions purpose.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions made on the basis of the app’s output. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for anything we cannot lawfully exclude (death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, etc.).

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England & Wales unless local consumer-protection law gives you a different right that you choose to exercise.

If we change these terms in any material way, we’ll email account holders, bump the “last updated” date at the top, and add a short summary of what changed. Continued use after that update constitutes acceptance.
